Scott Kelly of
Neurosis has released the title track from his upcoming solo release
The Forgiven Ghost In Me, which comes out on August 14th. Unlike his work in Neurosis, which usually has more of a scorched-earth-tribal-apocalypse sort of tone, Kelly's solo records are more like haunted folk music combined with his distinctive and mournful baritone voice .
